BIOGRAPHY: Cynthia Brooking
Cynthia Brooking is a Nationally Accredited Mediator (NMAS) and a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Cynthia is also the founder and principal of Brooking Mediation. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution, Diploma in Community Services, Diploma in Management, Cert IV in TAE and is a part-time teacher and trainer with Mediation Institute mentoring students doing the NMAS the Post Grad. FDR qualification.
Cynthia is also a Certified Coach for the New Ways for Families – ‘Parenting Without Conflict’ Course and is on the panel of Interact Support.
Cynthia has had extensive experience working with high conflict in the community services arena with youth, children and families under state care for well over a decade.
Cynthia worked in collaboration with educational facilities, government departments, NGO’s and developed a passion to see conflict resolution, in not only families but the workplace environment and in our community.
Cynthia’s motto is – ‘Peace is not the absence of conflict; it’s the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.’
